Bio

Not the Singer is the moniker of a London-born, Melbourne-based producer and DJ. The current material leans into electro, dub techno and IDM. Machine funk and weighted low-end, with dub treatments opening space around off-kilter drum work.

The catalogue crosses garage, jungle, future-garage, dub techno and dubstep, rarely settling on one for long. Growing up in London around garage, jungle and techno left its mark; Melbourne is where the sound turned more exploratory.

What holds across all of it is the low end and the rhythm. Tracks move between intensity and introspection, keeping listeners locked in but never in one place for too long.
