Later founded the Jungen Ensemble Für Musiktheater in Berlin, one of the first independent opera groups. His greatest successes included the 1986 production Linie 1 (which was adapted as a movie and is still being played today) and Ab Heute Heißt Du Sara (1988). Fischer-Dieskau later worked at the Theater Des Westens in Berlin, in Hannover, Kassel, Liepzig and Vienna, ... He has successfully developed over 100 productions for opera, plays, musicals and shows to date. (Source: Burghard Rausch, Aus Grauer Städte Mauern - Die Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW))
