Pianist, composer and electronic music producer from Barcelona. Besides composing music for films, documentaries and television, his two critically acclaimed LPs using his moniker bRUNA became Record Of The Year in Spain in 2009 and 2013. This led him to play live in some of the most prestigious festivals around the world, including Primavera Sound or Sónar, where he played several times including Sónar London, Sónar Chicago and Sónar's 20th Anniversary. He's also known for his particular DJ skills.

In 2007 he became a member of the Red Bull Music Academy, which took place in Toronto. He was also behind Lapsus, a multidisciplinary artistic collective created in Barcelona in 2004 that established three complementary areas of activity: Lapsus Records, a record label focused on avant-garde electronic music; Lapsus Festival, held every year at Barcelona's Contemporary Culture Center (CCCB); and Lapsus Radio, a weekly radio show conducted by him on Radio 3 (Spanish National Radio) awarded as the best Spanish Electronic Music Radio Show of 2016.

On January 11, 2017, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of his first live concert as bRUNA, Carles decided to terminate this musical project and every related activity, including his collaboration with Lapsus.
