Film Noir (2)

Film Noir were a new wave/dark wave band from Athens, Greece, formed in 1985.

In 1986 they released their first 12" "Never Ending Dream" by Wipe Out Records. That was the label's third release and the line up was: Costas Sokialis on guitars, keyboards, vocals, Mariella Loukaki on vocals and lyrics, Vassilis Nakis on keyboards, Constantinos Loukas Rolandos Kyriakos (aka Coti K.) on bass and Spyros Floros (aka S. Adam) on drums. In 1987 Loukaki left the band in order to pursue a modeling career in Australia.

In 1990 they released their first and only album entitled "Portrait Of A Child" by Aural Art Music Productions. The line up on this release was: Sokialis on vocals, guitars, keyboards; Coti K. on bass and Floros on drums. After this release, they disbanded.

Unfortunately, in 1996 singer Mariella Loukaki died of cancer. In 2013 ειρκτή re-released "Never Ending Dream" 12" combined with an extra 7".
