Bio

Reuben's first Sound was at school in the late 70's with Raphael, Aston and Gary using equipment they borrowed from Jimmy Ranks.
After leaving school Reuben moved closely with Malachi Sound which he named.
In the early 80's he met Dennis Bedeau who then went on to found Blakamix Studio who released their first record in 1986 which was 'Don't Rush Me' by Reuben.
In the late 80's Reuben founded his Unitone Soundimentional Studio, a little 4 track set up and started to work with local singers like Tatty Levi, Kojak Irie, Patoo, Kalvin Judah, Phonso Dan, Eric TLC, Dennis Nolan, Zebby Blax, Idren Natural, Jacob Naphty, Bonny, Hodge(RIP), Dennis B, Ises Dread and more.
In the 90's Reuben experimented with some different styles like drum and bass and breakbeat tunes but by the late 90's was back to making Roots music then into the 2000's when came his production 'Roar Like A Lion' by Idren Natural. At that time Reuben had returned to singing and songwriting and had songs with Apocalypse Dub Faction, Flow Production, Neeko and more and led to the release of Jah Kingdom Come, produced by Road Chaplin, as Addis Youth.
In July 2016 Reuben released his first album, 'The Lonely Singer' on CD.
