Bio
Irish rock band formed in 1969 in Dublin. The band took this name at the suggestion of Eric Bell (2), derived from the character 'Tin Lizzie' in the comic "The Beano" which Bell had been reading during rehearsals. They made their debut performance at St. Anthony's Hall, Dublin in January 1970. They made their UK concert debut at The Speakeasy on 20 March 1971.
The band was disbanded on September 4th 1983 but reformed including various combinations of former members after the death of Phil Lynott (vocals & bass guitar) who was one of the founding members and frontman of the group. He passed away in 1986.

Drummer Mark Nauseef replaced Brian Downey on a few gigs.

The most famous and most known line-up was during the 1974-1978 period with artist 476924 and artist 459084 on lead guitar.
