Started her musical career through the U.S. television show Soul Train, was one of the original members of Shalamar (1977 to 1983). Jody featured in 'The Black Issue' of Vogue Italia in July 2008.
Older sister of Midori (2). Goddaughter of Jackie Wilson. Former fiancée of Leon Sylvers. She has been married to André Cymone.
