Andrea Desiderà, bassist, electronic musician based in Treviso, North-East of Italia... Started late 80's with post-punk band Scent Merci where he was playing bass. The band had an important impact in italian underground scene and appeared on both tapes and vinyles compilations with the most talented ?unknown? bands from that time, linking (dark)wave to ambient, prog-rock to electronic music...

90's arrived and Andrea Desiderà, connected to mail art and synthesizers, decided to put out on his own, an ambient album called "Lenortape". This is the beginning of new musical approach, more focused on acoustic electronics. Lot of live shows took place, in cooperation with L. Morosin, with who they will start both Ionisation Tapes label and Cabaret Du Ciel duo. "Skies In The Mirror" seen light in 1992, 1st album, mixing synthesizers and guitars with effects, added by samples. They deliver here a fascinating album which will have success only 26 years later due to reissue on Hybride Sentimento .A clip been made by their close friend Giorgio Ricci, also musician from long date. The 2cnd album was published in 2010 by an important italian label (Mellow Records) focused mostly on local and international prog rock and alternative music.

Now, Andrea is continuing his musical journey, still working on solo compostions, with Luigi Morosin or playing bass in a band named Highwaves Trio. 2018 will permit to see the explosive and cinematic hit "Blue Car" on a Mélodies Souterraines compilation. A meeting of prog, krautrock and electronica.
