Old Man Crane

Rooted in the punk scene, Leipzig’s Old Man Crane found her way into bass music not so long ago. The first time she heard deep & dark dupstep on a soundsystem, she fell in love with the somatic basslines and rolling percussions. From that moment, she started DJing and producing her own music, concentrating on those complex percussions and drum patterns which form the core of OMC’s music. She combines hardware and software, using happy accidents to create modulated sounds. She’s also a resident on Callshop Radio alongside Tico, where they host a monthly show called Ventral Vibrations, and likes to organize and support non-profit DIY events.
