Ariwa Posse

A collective or group of artists, musicians, sound engineers and producers associated with Ariwa Sounds a.k.a. Ariwa Sounds Ltd. and Ariwa Ltd.. This group of people represents a bridge between Jamaican dub culture and the British scene.

As well, an "Ariwa Posse" logo can be found on records refers to Ariwa, a significant British dub and reggae record label founded in the late 1970s—primarily by the legendary producer Mad Professor (real name Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser). The logo is a trademark that appears on some label’s releases, marking their connection to the Ariwa collective.
