Stephen Shannon

Stephen Shannon is a composer and music producer based in Dublin, Ireland. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years, Steve has worked on albums that have been released on international labels such as Domino Records, Real World and Chemikal Underground and has produced several award winning/nominated records. At present, Steve is working at his own Studio, Experimental Audio.

As a composer, Stephen has written and recorded for film and TV. Recent feature film work includes Director Juanita Williams' film adaptation of Daniel Woodrell’s Tomato Red, the horror movie The Lodgers, and Andrea Mastrovito's I am Not Legend.

Stephen has also recorded and released original music as a member of Halfset, Strands and Mount Alaska. As a performer, Stephen has co-composed and performed original live scores for movies such as The Night of the Living Dead, Der Golem and Metropolis in many venues including BAAM in New York, The National Concert Hall and Christchurch, Dublin.
