Jatun Mama

Jatun Mama is a Kichwa electronic music duo from the Andes of Ecuador. It was born in March 2023 in the Kichwa commune of Turuku, located in Cotacachi - Imbabura, where Jesús Bonilla, musician and musical producer of Jatun Mama, proposes the re-signification of the music of the peoples and nationalities of Ecuador re-mixing instruments of the Andean region with modern sonorities and electronic equipment, seeking to transmit the strength of the ritual music and the Kichwa party.
