Marc Marot

Marc started his musical career in 1978 at age 19 by joining the band 'The Pool of Sound' formed of members of artist 308690. Despite three years of live performances the band were unsuccessful at being signed to a record label.

While working as a counter assistant at Our Price Records, marc volunteered at independent music publisher Eaton Music. At age 22 Marc asked to become the Professional Manager of Eaton Music by the label's owner Terry Oates.

In 1984 Marc was headhunted by Nick Stewart at Island Records, and asked to become the Managing Director of label 264463. In 1987 Marc became the Managing Director of label 109278 and Managing Director of label 1899771 in 1990.

Between 2000 and 2008 Marc set up and ran his own management company called artist 4232989. In 2008 the company was merged with the sports and entertainment management company SEG Entertainment Ltd, and Marc became the CEO of the resultant company.

In 2012 Marc became a Chairman for the music and entertainment talent management company label 484915, a position he held until 2018.

Since July 2016 Marc has been producing digital art and founded Maven Arts Ltd. with oil painter Scarlett Raven.
