Null EM

Null EM is the current project of Madrid-based artist Jorge Bule. Developed through the ~∅EM framework, it focuses on the capture and documentation of normally inaudible physical phenomena using geophones, contact sensors, and electromagnetic detection systems.

Rather than a compositional practice, Null EM explores structural vibrations, mechanical resonances, and other physical behaviours present in everyday environments. The project approaches sound as a means of documenting phenomena that exist independently of observation, operating at the intersection of field recording, sound research, and expanded listening.
