Vieri Mura

Vieri Mura is an Italian musician of Sardinian and Norman heritage, formerly known as Vieri Cervelli Montel.
He graduated in voice from the Siena Jazz International Academy, but is a fluid and wide-ranging artist. He is a composer, songwriter and passionate researcher of rural and ancient Sardinia and its traditional music, as well as an improviser and experimenter focused on timbre and word.
Discovered by Iosonouncane, who invited him to open the [m=2126977] tour (2021), he became the first artist signed to his label Tanca Records, releasing his debut album «[m=4267689]» [primo] in 2022. On several occasions he has been one of the four voices of the Coro Gavino Gabriel (1953), historic institution of traditional polyphonic singing from the north of Sardinia, and has collaborated with artists such as Iosonouncane, Crookers, Clap! Clap!, Flavia Laus, Massimo Silverio, Nicolas Remondino, Francesca Gaza, Luca Sguera, Nicola Manzan, Francesco Platoni and the Quartetto Maurice, among others.
Alongside his musical activity, he also works as a graphic designer, shaping the visual identity of numerous releases for artists such as Daniela Pes, Iosonouncane, Massimo Silverio, Stefano Battaglia, Ernst Reijseger.
