Bio

German Krautrock band formed in 1968 by former artist 737628 musicians Mani Neumeier (drums) and Uli Trepte (bass) as Guru Guru Groove in Heidelberg.
They started as a political and satirical Rock band and quickly had contacts with other contemporary bands as artist 201946 and Tangerine Dream. After they first only wanted to perform live, they recorded their debut album in 1970. Starting with the follow-up album in 1971, they had a cooperation with producer Conny Plank. In the time after, the line-up changed many times, but the band stayed active until the 2020's.
