Bio
German musician, novelist and blogger, born in 1969 in Ludwigshafen/Rhein. In 2007, he moved to Switzerland and lives in Bern.
Kowalzik was co-founder of EBM and Synthpop band No Comment in 1989 together with René Ebner.
Kowalzik studied economy at the Mannheim business school and worked professionally in the Pharmaceutical industry, which brang him later to Switzerland.
During the 1990's, him and Ebner were the only steady members of the band "No Comment", the band was active until around 2010.
In 2012, he published his first crime novel, which was the start of his third career as novel author.
In 2013, he was co-founder of EBM & Synthpop band artist 2911979 based in Bern.
In 2017, he and Christian Purwien founded the duo Purwien & Kowa. Under this name, both artists were producing music, writing books and running a podcast.
In 2026, both artists created a spin-off project called "Heldautomat".
