Yabby You

Roots reggae artist and producer well known as 'Jesus Dread', also known as Yabby U and Yabby Yu. He grew up in the ghetto and worked in an aluminum foundry and quickly met the Ethiopian World Federation, made his first recordings early 70's with The Sons Of Negus and with artist 440474 as part of artist 4262188, recorded his first own tune around 1972 ([m=37199], which gave him his famous alias due to the chorus that had been playing as a dubplate by King Tubby for two years) but not released before 1974 with the voices of artist 302041 later became The Prophets. Ran his own labels around 1974 (label 165404, Prophet Record & Vivian Jackson (Yabby You))... The rest is history... Roots reggae foundation !
