British-bred, Brooklyn-based photographer Phil Knott has attracting a wide range of clients including Paramount Pictures, Stussy, Versace Sport and Fragrance, The New York Times, Atlantic records, Sony BMG, Vibe, Spin, and Boxfresh.

His more personal endeavors in print include ongoing cultural studies rooted in street culture and music, documenting the scooter boy crews in East London and American counterparts, low-riders in New York. Over his move from London to New York in 2002, Phil shot stills and films of the new wave in rock, The Sonic Mook Experiment, and NY: Future Rock nFFFD Roll.

Three years ago Phil introduced the integration of collage into his work, creating energetic, graphic, and iconic images across album art: Hot Hot HeatFFFDs Elevator, throughout his fashion editorials for Flaunt, Spin, and Complex, and in campaigns, first drawn on by Stussy. The natural shift to art direction has been recently and wholly exemplified in Tally Ho, a newly launched magazine, published and produced by Phil Knott.

Phil continues to diversify the range of his portraits of celebrities and artists, capturing the likes of Justin Timberlake, Lloyd Banks, Jude Law, 50 Cent, David Gray, The Kaiser Chiefs, John Singleton, Clive Owen, Sienna Miller, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, CamFFFDron, Nas, Piper Perabo, Ken Watanabe, Christian Bale, Terrance Howard, Elliott Smith, and Robert Plant.
