Sparkle In Grey

Formed in 2005, Sparkle in Grey’s instrumentation includes violin, bass, laptop, guitar, bagpipes, piano, polyrhythmic drums, melodica, field recordings, harsh noises and a bicycle. They cross many styles, from Industrial to electronic to Ukrainian traditional folk music to post-combat rock.

Their music sounds like a mixture of electronic, post-rock and light experimentalism.

In reviews, their records have been compared to Piano Magic, Tuxedomoon, Rachel's, King Crimson and even Current 93.

They collaborated with several artists such as Controlled Bleeding, MB/Maurizio Bianchi, Riccardo Gamondi (Woki Toki), OvO, Micecars, Kiddycar, Harshcore, Giuseppe Ielasi, Francesco Giannico, Tex La Homa and many others.
