Bio

German photographer born in 1947 in Neustadt an der Haardt. She was lifetime partner of German underground pioneer Alfred Hilsberg and label chief of German underground label What's So Funny About.. from 1983 to 2018.
She moved to Hamburg in 1954 and became designer and photographer. In the late 1970's, she started as band photographer for German music magazine label 1942723, where she became one of the most famous and prolific photographer for the arising Post Punk and New Wave scene in Germany. She starts to create tour posters and cover artwork for temporary artists and mainly for German "Neue Deutsche Welle" label Zickzack, the label of her partner Alfred Hilsberg.
Her artistic life is best shown in the 2015 created exhibition "geniale Dilletanten", which shows many examples of her artwork and photography.
