Bite

Spanish producer and videographer José Barrera releases his magnificent EP Diffuse on basic_sounds. Known for being an industrial engineer by trade, Barrera’s passion lies in creating dark ambient drones with deep immersive basslines. He originally started composing in 2004 after purchasing his first synthesizer and later became invested with the Monome community, contributing to several compilations organized by other Monome users. He also has appeared on Mischieveous Musique, Drift Deeper and supplied audio accompaniment to a contemporary dance performance.
