Bio

Percussionist. This tamborero, a life member of the Super Band of Venezuela, Guaco, was born on June 3, 1947 in the neighborhood of El Empedrao, Santa Lucía de Maracaibo parish.
As far as his musical career is concerned, twenty-six years were dedicated, initially to the Conjunto Estudiantil Los Guacos del Zulia; that later it would happen to be called Guaco and that nowadays is recognized, nationally and internationally like the Super Band of Venezuela, Guaco. Today he continues to promote the productions of Guaco; as well as the works of Quinto Criollo, Amílcar Boscán and Carángano.
