Prinz Ezo

Prinz Ezo was a pseudonym created by an acclaimed Danish electronic musician Bjørn Christiansen, or Bjørn Svin, for more experimental and minimalistic productions — in the artist's own words, "narrative dance music [...] with tension, energy and drama that aims to be not music." One of Prinz Ezo's earliest appearances was in December 2004 on [r=359860] 2xLP compilation from ElectrARos label, listed as a producer for a one-off collaborative duo Contradition Boys with Aasmund Kverneland/Copyflex.

In 2005, Prinz Ezo debuted with a full-length album on a Copenhagen-based label Tech-Nology, available as [m=404104] 2x12" or an expanded [r=505375] CD edition. It featured two Prins Esso's tracks from 2002, initially released via Pelle Krøgholt's innovative netlabel DataMusik. The next year, Ezo presented another 12-inch on Tech-Nology, [r=646911] in the edition of only 50 copies, recorded with yet another Aasmund Kverneland's alter ego Flext. He also released [r=840614] 12" EP on Tender Productions in November 2006.
