Bio
TODOTODO was founded in Alicante (Spain) in January 1982 by artist 1048462 and Pedro Vidal.
Navarro met Vidal through the latter’s concerts as a classical music performer and composer, and he was the one who encouraged him to explore popular music. The group’s name was proposed by Navarro and comes from the TODOTODO supermarket chain, which at that time had one of its stores located near Pedro Vidal’s home studio, where the duo’s two demo tapes were recorded: “Tratamiento Radical” and “Tráfico‑Tráfico”. A few weeks after the project was created, Navarro left the duo due to creative differences (witnesses claim it was over a single musical note).
In March 1982, Pedro Vidal brought in Gerardo San Vicente to write the lyrics for the songs. Although the line‑up never became consolidated, this brief stage produced “Respuesta Alternativa” and “Circuitos en pareja”. In May of that same year, artist 990235 filled the vacant position and, shortly afterwards, artist 990236 joined the project, marking the transition from a duo to the trio that remained active for the rest of 1982. The group performed its final two concerts at Rock‑Ola (Madrid) on 29 and 30 December 1982. After these shows, TODOTODO disbanded. Subsequently, Carmelo Hernández and Francisco García continued as a duo under the name MUZAK, while Pedro Vidal went on to pursue his solo career as a composer, arranger, sound engineer and producer.
