Jacquire King

US recording engineer, mixer, and producer, based in Nashville, Tennessee.

The son of a publishing company account manager, King was born and raised near Great Falls Park, Virginia. When his parents separated, 12 year-old King took refuge in music, attending performances by D.C. hardcore bands, and exploring his mother’s record collection. His career commenced in earnest in 1997, when he served as an engineer on artist 252693’s self-titled debut album. Two years later, King captured a Grammy for his work on Tom Waits’ “[m=14287].” In 2003, he earned a second Grammy for his contributions to artist 259799’s album, “[m=295615].” He produced, engineered and mixed artist 236094's breakthrough album “[m=123931]” in 2008. Norah Jones then tapped King to produce her 2009 album, “[m=207392].”
