Al Cisneros

Al Cisneros is a stoner/doom metal bassist and vocalist, hailing from San Jose, California. He was born on September 23rd, 1973 and formed his first band - artist 798524 - in 1989. In 1990, Cisneros and drummer artist 279819 formed the band artist 57916 out of the ashes of Asbestosdeath, recruiting artist 817170 on guitar. Sleep existed until around 1998 when they disbanded, reuniting in 2012 to make new music. In the interim, around 2003, Cisneros formed OM (8) with Hakius; this contact also led to the creation of the supergroup artist 1608708, recording their debut album in January 2009. Since 2012 he has released a number of dub related singles as a solo artist.
