Bio
Born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1982, Ladi6 began her career as a member of the hip-hop group Sheelahroc. She was nominated for Best Vocalist/MC at the 2003 bNet Music Awards. She later performed with Verse Two in Auckland, a soul and hip-hop group that toured nationally.
She has contributed vocals to recordings by Shapeshifter, Scribe, Fat Freddy's Drop, and 50Hz. She also toured Europe in 2010 and 2011.
