Tito & Tarantula

Tito & Tarantula was formed in 1992. Tito Larriva, artist 610924, artist 303283, artist 830844 and artist 278602 were the founding members. Playing packed houses in Los Angeles, the band formed a loyal following. Given Tito’s long career in music, film, and television, the band soon found themselves collaborating with Hollywoods best.
Long time fan artist 65543 sought the band out to work with him on his first feature film. Tito scored and played the role of Tavo in the film entitled “Desperado”. The band contributed “Strange Face of Love”, “Back to the House that Love Built”, “White Train” and “Pistolero” to the soundtrack.
The next year, the band appeared in Rodriguez's “From Dusk Till Dawn” as the house band of the "Titty Twister". "After Dark", and "Angry Cockroaches", were also featured in the film. In 1997, Tito & Tarantula made it’s long-awaited album debut, Tarantism, the band followed with the release of Hungry Sally and Other Lullabies, and Little Bitch.
Tito and Tarantula received the “Der Deutsche Fernsehpreis” in 2001 for Tito’s score in the german film “Schrei des Schmetterling” (Cry of the Butterfly). Soon after the band released Andalucia. The long awaited album “Back Into the Darkness” was released in 2008. The following year the band contributed the theme to the film “Machete”. In 2013 “Pretty Wasted” and “If You Love Me” were showcased in the critically acclaimed french film, “Oceane”. The band currently includes Marcus Praed, Victor Ziolkowski, and Lolita Carroll.
