Victor Axelrod

Musician, producer and recording engineer from Brooklyn, New York.
From the mid-1990s, he has worked primarily in the genres of reggae, Afrobeat and soul, recording and producing under his own name and the alias Ticklah, a nickname given to him early in his career by Jeff Baker aka King Django.
He became a founding member of Antibalas and Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings after meeting musicians Martin Perna and Gabriel Roth in the late 1990s.
Member of Cooly's Hot Box (1998-2002), Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings (1998-2002) and Antibalas (1999-2012).
