Yvan Etienne

French artist/activist engaged in research in the field of sound art (specific site installations, concerts,). Compose and play pieces using electronics, phonography, analog synthesizers and the hurdy-gurdy. His sound art research questions the perception and physicality of sound spaces.
He has also played with Phill Niblock, Yann Gourdon, Richard Glover, Patrice Grente, Robert Poss, Paul Panhuysen to name a few, as well as acting as curator and director of the "Ohcetecho" at Les Presses Du Réel". He is member of La Nòvia collective.
