Akenaton

Producer and dj from Madrid (Spain) who starts his career in 1999, when he starts to set up his studio and create music with a Roland EG-101 synthesizer as the only working tool, hungry for more he decides to expand his team by acquiring new mixing desks, synthesizers and samplers.
A few years later, in 2002, he got his hands on Gemini XL 400 turntables with which he started to mix albums that he was compiling in different stores in Madrid with which he acquired and perfected his mixing technique, initially influenced by the hard sounds of the motor city, which he got to know more deeply by attending several clubs in Madrid where he was characterized by programming sessions focused on Detroit Techno.
Valencia (Spain) also plays a crucial role in the development of Akenaton, since at that time there were several collectives that operated in the area and already had him to perform at occasional parties in the Port of Sagunto and later also in Valencia city.
In 2017 he publishes "Play On Words" in NXT recordings, 5 cuts that end up with very good reviews both nationally and internationally.

A year later he signed with the prestigious Madrid label SUB tl, where he was in charge of "Personal Disorder", reference nº 38 which was published in December 2018.
In February 2019 he publishes "Channel 2" in the first edition of the series "Transmute" of Hxagrm Records and later in November of the same year he publishes "Heaven" in the fourth edition of the same series, obtaining very good feedback at global level, including the support of the American artist Mike Parker.
In September of 2019 he signs his first 12" through the Madrid label Matterwave Records, a four-track EP called "Reason of being" that got support and good feedback from great artists like Dave Clarke, Zadig or Laurent Garnier.
Nowadays he continues working hard in his studio and has prepared new releases that will soon see the light.
