Bio
French electronica duo turned trio from Paris.
Electronic duo Navis was born in 1996. But it was only with the arrival of Ai Maeda, a young Japanese expatriate relocated to Paris, that Cédric Monnet and Jean-François Noyon scuttled Navis to better transform into Novo Navis, not without having previously collaborated with Philippe Katerine and Doriand (aka Laurent Lescarret). With the release of the album Populations, the trio gives into the epicurean groove and the well-felt refrain. The group ended in 2001 & Jean-François pursued a solo carrier (as Soda Pop Kid) while Cédric Monnet decided to focus on his carrier of sound engineer that led him to the famous French mastering studio Translab & founded his own mastering studio (Downmix Mastering) in 2008.
