Bio

Tania Saleh (born in Lebanon 1969) is a Lebanese visual artist and singer/songwriter. She was married to sound engineer/music producer Phillippe Tohme between 1997 and 2011 with whom she co-produced her first two albums "Tania Saleh" 2002 and "Wehde" 2011. Her albums “Intersection” 2018 and “10 A.D.” 2021 won the German Record Critics’ Award in the "World Music" category. To date, she has released 10 albums. She blends multiple musical styles, mixing traditional Levant and Arabic music with folk, jazz, bossa nova, alternative rock, and electronic sounds. Alongside her music career, Tania Saleh is also a visual artist. Each album she creates is accompanied by a unique visual universe, conceived and developed by her. From album cover design to animated clips, hand painted and digital visuals, she shapes a strong visual identity for each musical project, affirming a complete and coherent artistic signature.
