Irv was known to have worked with varied studios including label 1759925, label 405720, label 314071, and label 122360. He worked at label 282680 in the late 1950's and 60's a key period in recording revolution. Irv wrote an autobiography, self published in 2000 entitled "In One Ear and in the Other: Memories of 48 Years in Recording".
