Max Mohr

Mohr was born on October 3, 1962 in Frankfurt. From an early age, music was one of his central interests. At 17, he played in a punk band. Three years later, he pursued his other passion, art. He began studying at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, where he became particularly interested in multimedia installations. During this time, he also became increasingly active in music again.

He created his first tracks on the Amiga. Electronic music became a constant for Mohr over the next few years. After half a year in New York, he moved from Frankfurt to Cologne in 1994. His first maxi release, "Sweet", was released by Playhouse in 2000. After two more EPs, the time had finally come in 2006, when the longplayer "Trickmixer's Revenge" hit the stores. At this point, Max Mohr is already 44 years old, which is rather unusual for a techno producer.
