Bio
Minnesota-born, Chicago-repping and Arizona-based Brandon Thompson (DJ Chidow) don't 'funk' around. Chidow has an impressive backlog of releases available on his Bandcamp, SoundCloud and YouTube.
Born in 1999, his father used to play WBMX Chicago Mixes by Kenny Jason, Farley Keith, and Julian Perez.
Taking short notice, he stated that his beginning of his DJing career started when he "chose songs for a Disc jockey to play at a graduation party in South Side of Chicago, in 2009 of Christmas."
In early 2010, His father helped him from there, giving him a DJ MIDI Controller for Christmas 2010.
Young Brandon was so eager for the world to hear his work that he has made many remixes, covers and edits of old Funk, Hip-hop and House tracks that made it all the way to it's original artists.
By 2016, Chidow was already making a name for himself on SoundCloud, Bandcamp and YouTube.
2017 was his breakthrough and turnaround. He decided to brand himself and make a business out of it.
He is the Owner/CEO of Chidow Entertainment, LLC. and the first half of DJ Chidow and Myūjikku.
