French rapper of Algerio-Kabyle ethnicity, Rim'K was born and raised in the Parisian suburb of Vitry-sur-Seine.
His family comes from the village of Barbacha (Béjaïa) in Algeria, which is mentioned in his lyrics on numerous occasions.
