Bio
German all female new wave band, formed in Berlin January 1981.
Starting as a duo of Bettina Köster and Gudrun Gut (both formerly of Mania D.), their debut 12" was intriguingly recorded at label 322474 in Berlin, and produced by Klaus Krüger. Soon after, Manon Duursma (Ohne Unter Titel), Christine Hahn (artist 297535 / Glenn Branca) and Susanne Kuhnke (artist 60072) entered the band, and they released the album "Emotion" in 1982. After the release of "Beat the Distance" in 1984, they disbanded, with Köster and Hahn moving to the US.
In 1991, Köster, Gut, and Duursma got back together and restarted Malaria.
