American film director, musician, and artist.
Born in Missoula, Montana, on January 20, 1946 - Died in Los Angeles, on January 15, 2025.
Father of musician Riley Lynch.
Best known for directing the films "Eraserhead" (1977), "Dune" (1984), "Blue Velvet" (1986), "Wild At Heart" (1990), and the TV series "Twin Peaks" (1990-91, 2017).
