Quum

Experimental group from Argentina formed in December, 1977, that played with improvisation and electronics, influenced by sci-fi, budism and otherworldly mysticism.
The word Quum comes from the secret book Popol Vuh and it means "the secret", "the mystery" or "that which is hidden behind what's apparent".
In 1982 they released their first recording, Pasillo de imágenes, followed five years later by Mentira de tigre, which was released on Daniel Melero's label, label 431389. In 1989 they released Deus Ex Machina, their third album, and they kept releasing more until 2002. They have made music for exhibitions, installations, and have participated in numerous performarnce. are currently still active.
