Bio

American harpist & music educator.

She was well known internationally for her performances of new and improvised music on both the classical & electric harp from contemporary composers.

She has performed a wide variety of genres including classical, experimental, & world music

She studied the harp at the age of 12 at the Music Academy of the West as well as performing there until graduation where she then attended New England Conservatory and studied under artist 1526200 until she left and moved back to California to attend the newly established CalArts where she studied under the guidance of artist 336802 in 1973.

She has performed concerts on many television shows including The Today Show, NPR, The London Regional Art Gallery, New York Philharmonic's "Horizons" Concerts, The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Carnegie Concert Hall & The Los Angeles Festival.

She has collaborated with James Tenney, artist 1441602, artist 231641, artist 2758618, & Morton Feldman.

Died: September 7th 2015 in Kirkland, Washington.
