Marion Cousin

Marion Cousin is a French guitarist, singer and composer. She has been working with Spanish musician Borja Flames since 2006, as part of his quartet and their duo June et Jim, then Catalina Matorral. She has been a member of the experimental French chanson collective Le Saule since 2010.
In 2014, she began researching a repertoire devoted to the work songs and romances of the Iberian peninsula, with the aim of transmitting this traditional repertoire and giving it a hearing outside its own area.
At the same time, Marion Cousin has been working as a translator of contemporary Spanish, Spanish-speaking and Catalan theatre since 2012, helping several artists and companies to surtitle their shows on French-speaking stages.
