Made By Pete

Born and raised in London, UK, Made By Pete (real name James Edwards/Boore) is an artist, songwriter, producer, and DJ whose catalogue has been celebrated across electronic music’s most notable publications and figureheads.

A mainstay on Damian Lazarus’ influential imprint Crosstown Rebels, Made By Pete launched his own record label, Life In Colour, in 2025. His 2023 single ‘Horizon Red’ featuring Zoe Kypri served as a major turning point, accumulating over 30 million streams and earning the title of a "future classic" from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. The track was later remixed by Black Coffee for Crosstown Rebels’ 20th Anniversary album and performed live to a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

His momentum continued with subsequent releases, including ‘Fires’ (2024) and ‘In My Head’ alongside Secret Echoes (2025), both receiving BBC Radio 1’s coveted Essential New Tune award. This run of success culminated in an invitation from Pete Tong to deliver an official BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix. As an in-demand producer, Made By Pete has remixed tracks for high-profile artists such as Bedouin, CamelPhat, and Vintage Culture, while his own original work has been reworked by industry icons including Black Coffee, Solomun, and Damian Lazarus. With nearly two decades of DJing experience, 2023 marked his international breakthrough year behind the decks.

Alongside a long-standing residency at Blue Marlin Ibiza, he has become a seasonal staple on the island with appearances at Hï Ibiza, Pacha, and Akasha. In his hometown of London, he remains a regular guest at Fabric, having performed at the iconic Farringdon venue multiple times. Internationally, he has toured extensively across India, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada, with milestone appearances at key venues including Brooklyn Mirage (NYC), Savaya (Bali), and Café Del Mar (Phuket).
