Philippe SAINTLOS = LA DIVISION TECHNIQUE


LA DIVISION TECHNIQUE is a French electronics project founded and directed by Philippe Saintlos, which sounds like old-school electronics, dark soundscapes, minimalist synths, industrial ambient, with analog synthesizers, filters, strings, vocals and spatial sound recordings. A meeting in 2017 with the Rotorelief label led to the release of the album "Unexpected Works, Random Systems" from tapes-K7 of the 80s period.
A succession of two-year concerts followed, culminating in a second album, "Nebula", in 2019.
After a return to its roots with a 3rd album, "Traversant les cités liquides", where psychedelic analog electronic music and tortured cosmic melodies meet in a decaying universe on the threshold of a post-apocalyptic world, La Division Technique presents today its new album: "Tristes Machines".

LA DIVISION TECHNIQUE sounds like electronic oldschool, soundscapes, psyche-kraut, minimal synth, industrial-ambient, with analog synthezisers, filters, voices & spacesounds recordings.

In the past, Philippe Saintlos also has been (co)founder of several labels (Semantic, Ubahn, Odessa..), concerts promoter & manager, for over 25 years.
Philippe SAINTLOS: cofounder of recordlabels (Semantic, UBAHN, Odessa), promotion & management for over 25 years. Record's label UBAHN reactived in 2019, as a private label.
LA DIVISION TECHNIQUE: analog electronic, industrial & minimal synth music project;
(1983/1987): first tracks, released on tapes/K7 labels
(2017 to now..): he records new material & performs concerts.
Currently sounds like kraut-electronic oldschool, soundscapes, minimal synth, industrial-ambient, with analog synthezisers, filters, guitars voices & space sounds recordings.
