Bio
The X-Men was a DJ crew founded in 1988 by Roc Raida (Harlem), Stevie "Superman" Dee (Harlem), Sean C (Harlem), and Johnny Kash (Harlem). Diamond Jay (Long Island) and Exotic E (Miami) joined around 1990, and Dr. Butcher (Queens), Rob Swift (Queens), and Mista Sinista joined in 1991. Total Eclipse (Brooklyn) joined in 1996 after winning the International Turntablist Federation World Championship.
When they got a record deal with Sony/LOUD, the X-Men started going under the name The X-Ecutioners to avoid copyright infringement, and the lineup included only Roc Raida, Rob Swift, Mista Sinista, and Total Eclipse. Mista Sinista left the group in 2001, and Rob Swift in 2004. Roc Raida passed away in 2009, and Total Eclipse currently lives in Australia, but Rob Swift and Mista Sinista still perform as artist 8156023.
