Joel Putman

Joel started creating sounds with analog and digital synthesizes / samplers in the 80's and 90's. Since 2000 he has created most of his sounds in the software environment. For him the sounds he creates are similar to sonic post it notes. In some small way they encapsulate a thought, emotion, aesthetic or technique. The sounds often reflect his experiences.

For those interested, his primary tools are: Metasynth, Renoise, Logic, Reaktor, Kyma, Csound, SuperCollider and his ever present Zoom H2 recorder.
