Bio
Originally from Maryland and now Mississippi-based multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer.
Co-founded the rock band Bonepony in 1990, releasing the Capitol Records album Stomp Revival (1995) and later the independent Traveler's Companion. Struggling with addiction during those years, he experienced a profound Christian conversion in 1999, left the band, and redirected his music toward Bible-based themes. He briefly fronted Heavywood Brand (Variety Rule), collaborated with Steve Thompson on ThompsonWard and Porch Funk (2008), and as a solo artist released Jesus Record (2002), Ominous Joy (2009), and Sacred Cows, while also recording prison ministry gospel album Parchman Lounge (2011) with The North MS Kairos Band; he continues to write and produce primarily faith-centered songs, with occasional secular projects.
