Bio

I've been creating electronic music off and on since the mid-80s when I self-released two DIY cassettes. After 15 years away, with one brief exception in 1996 (the first ENGRAM track, What Am I? with Martin Bowes), I got back in the saddle in 2005 with Geoff Pinckney producing. I'm taking it more seriously and creating more material these days, with various compilation appearances, a solo EP, ENGRAM EPs and live dates. Solo album is due in May 2017 plus my final live date as John Costello in September. The debut ENGRAM album & live dates are also scheduled for late 2017, alongside other exciting projects and collaborations.
