Bio
A member of West Coast Get Down, Mosley has worked across jazz, funk, soul, rock and film music, collaborating with artists including Kamasi Washington, Lauryn Hill, Kendrick Lamar and Chris Cornell.
Best known for his amplified upright bass playing, Mosley's solo work combines acoustic and electric approaches, incorporating effects processing, improvisation and orchestral composition. His recordings draw from jazz, funk, soul, rock and cinematic music while remaining centered on the upright bass.
In 2025 he founded BEAM Records, an independent label through which he began releasing the +magic series, a collection of limited-edition vinyl recordings inspired by different cities.
